Elements and Crosses

The four elements Fire, Earth, Air and Water are to be seen as archetypical energies which affect consciousness and perception. Temperament is determined by the dominant element of the horoscope. The astrological crosses divide the horoscope into three groups called Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable. Each group contains four signs which show the relationship between ones behavior, power of assertion and direction.
